Our wedding day was truly magical... and as cliché as that sounds for us it couldn't be more true!
The weather at our venue, Oxbow Country Estate, was just perfect on this day in November!
I was so excited to walk down that isle and spend the rest of my life with my soul mate, lover, best friend and dance partner.
Everything ran smoothly and since I opened my eyes early that morning and hair and makeup commenced I was more excited than ever!
I remember standing at the top of the pathway as I was about to walk down to my love, Clinton, while the bridesmaids were walking down and looking to my coordinator Louinette and telling her, "I'm getting married and I couldn't be more excited..."!
I walked down the isle, to the song "Feels like home" which I sang and pre-recorded for Clinton. This was truly something so special between the two of us and I remember I was smiling as I was walking down the entire time... overwhelmed with joy and peace on our wedding day!
The ceremony was beautiful and truly a message of love to start our life together, which made it so much more special to us!
The night was magical! Our venue looked out onto numerous dams and the reflection of our wedding in the water was truly reminiscent of this majestic evening celebrating life and love.
Our first dance was something we worked on so hard and truly wanted it to be perfect and looking back on our dance it was as if we were floating on a cloud just Clinton and I staring into each other's eyes taking in every moment of our newly announce commitment to each other!
Overall we ended off dancing the night away with everyone that we love and cherish close to our hearts and the memories of our special day will be forever engraved in our hearts and minds!
Our honeymoon we spent in Cape Town and it was the most wonderful time of our lives being a tourist in your own country and exploring the wonders of the Cape and its beauty!
For our wedding the look I was trying to portray was one of Stylish Elegance... with my Milla Nova Chelsea dress I felt beautiful! Melissa Bam from Melissa Glam Bam made me look like a princess with my flawless makeup and my formal updo hair done by Suzanne from Cutting edge ended of my overall look!
For my jewelry I wanted to keep it formal and stylish and since the top of my dress was covered in Swarovski crystals I felt it was fitting to wear Swarovski timeless earnings and bracelet!
Overall I felt beautiful and elegant!
We got married at Oxbow Country Estate in Bronkhorstsspruit and majority of our guests also stayed the night there.
About 7 months before the wedding I started monthly facials which included a peel and 2 months before the wedding I went for tanning. Other than that no beauty regimes.
The decor was similar to my overall look for the wedding! Which was stylish elegance.
My colours were grey, silver and white. And only the green of the flowers.
This white elegant look with the touch of greys and silver added to a breathtaking look.
The centre pieces of the tables alternated between high settings to table runners which added to a dramatic look I invisioned!
Lighting was mainly candle light which gave a romantic and elegant feel to the evening.
The groom and groomsmen wore suits.
All from Woolworths the David Jones range.
The groom wore a dark blue suit with a tie and brown shoes and for a little fun happy socks.
The groomsmen wore grey suits with bow ties and brown shoes and also happy socks.
For my bridesmaid I exactly new what dress I had in mind and I was fortunate enough to get those exact dresses for them.
Their dresses were long charcoal colour dresses with a sweetheart strapless neckline.
They looked absolutely breathtaking!

Our photographer was the magnificent Nerize Raath Photography who truly made us feel at ease and we had the best time with her capturing our special day!
First Kiss was our videographer and they were amazing it was as if they weren't even there which made it so much more natural.
We did have a photobooth for our guest which was done by Selfie Box
I planned the entire wedding myself but needed someone to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day!
Therefore my coordinator was also the lady who did all the flowers and decor Louinette Weyer from Impressionant events.
None needed.
The venue was responsible for all the food which was absolutely delicious as it was a plated menu.
The most delicious wedding cake was made by Funky baking!
Elaine from I do Creative concepts did all my stationary and since the day we met and I told her what my dream is for my stationary she took it to the next level!
I absolutely loved my invites, menu's and "thank you" stickers!
The evening was truly amazing... our DJ was Up-a-tone events, and we went for dance lessons to perfect our first dance and I couldnt be more happy with the outcome!
The party went on till the early hours of the morning.
