The absolute highlight of our wedding day was walking into the church and saying our "I DO'S"
My amazing husband arranged our honeymoon and it was at Mauritius at the Intercontinental hotel in Balavlava. It was truely a honeymoon destination and very romantic.
I am a very plain and simple girl and wanted to look natural. My dress was simple yet very ellegant which was made by my family in law. My hair was straightened and slightly pinned back with silver clips - done by Erika Esterhuyse. My make up was very natural and pretty - done by Naomi.
We chose to get married at Diep in die berg as it has amazing green, manicured gardens and really portrayed its beauty by itself without much decor.
Our decor on the tables where 3 different sized cylinder vases with an arum lilly in each with a floating candle on top. Around it was 3 small rolly polly holders each with a tea light candle. At the bottom we had a mirror and diamonds all around it. It looked absolutely stunning.
My husband wore a grey suit, white shirt, royal blue tie and black shoes. The grooms men wore black suits, white shirts, royal blue ties and black shoes.
The bridesmaids wore long rouged royal blue dresses with silver shoes which my family in law also made.

Our main photographer was Geraldine Maritz, additionally one of our guests Carla Van der Spuy also took a lot of photos for us.
Inclusive to our package at Diep in die berg we had a coordinator, that mainly just kept us on track. Furthermore we did everything ourselves.
To the church my sister in law drove me in her black Toyota 86 which was the bridal car.
Our food was made by the very talented chef at Diep in die berg. Our wedding cake we had made by Elsa Goldridge, and it was an absolutely beautiful cake.
My sister in law designed and made all our stationary for our wedding. She made our engagement party invites, save the dates, Wedding invites, table numbers, and seating chart.
We like dancing alot so we were ready for the first dance naturally. Our Dj's were Barbs and Frank Heynek, they also did our lighting and they did an absolutely amazing job.
