Me and my husband Etienne met on a dating site. We where lucky to have met each other and if it wasn’t for the site we probably wouldn’t have met or even crossed paths in the future! We both went through failed relationships in the past and the moment we met we pretty much knew what both of us was looking for! And that was each other! We are completely opposite from each other which one would think would cause some conflict however with us we work great together! We both knew from the start that we where meant to be and there is not one day that passes that i dont thank the Lord for giving me my husband and showing me that he was the one. We got marriend in January the same month of me and my husbands birthday. My theme for the wedding was winery. Me and my husband both had the dream of marring in a wineyard, however having an wedding in cape town was not an option for us so we decided to bring the winery to pretoria. My wedding was perfect and there was not one thing that I would do different. I married the man of my dreams and the man that I will be spending the rest of my life with.
We did go on a honeymoon! We went to umlanhga.
The wedding was winery themed. The tables had a rustic look woth a wooden platform in the middle and wine bottles placed on the wood. The flower decorations where made up of roses and greenery. The name placements were made from a wine bottle cork. My hair was done up to the one side with a losey look and curls. With my make up i went for a natural look, dark smokey eys with red, maroon lips. My aunt made my wedding dress, lace with loose material falling down at my waist. In the fron the material was draped to the sodes opening my legs in front. The dress was V shaped at the back opening my entire back. I wore red, maroon hi heal shoes covering my toes and the sodes of my feet. I wore blue lingerie, for my something blue. The jewelry i wore was a pearl necklace with pearl earrings.
We gor married at Diep in die Berg venue. Which is in Pretoria. Some of our guests that came from far slept over at family members, but most of them stayed close by.
By husband wore a maroon suite with a black shirt black shoes. The groomsmen wore black pants with white shirts and maroon bow ties with black shoes.
My bridesmades wore maroon short summer dresses i got the look from the internet and thier dresses where also made.
Yes we did the wedding venue we used included a planner in we package.
