It happened on a romantic getaway in Dullstroom, on one of the trout fishing estates in the forest after a relaxing spa day.

The first dance was very emotional, most of our guest were crying which made us cry, so that was by far the best part.
We had a beach theme as the ceremony was on the beach.
I just fell in love with my dress the moment I tried it on. It was not at all what I thought I wanted. My bridesmaids dresses were infinity dresses, but we chose an unusual colour that would make them stand out against the blue ocean.
We chose light, soft colours as we had the beach and the oceans and we did not want to take anything away from the beautiful location.
Yes, we did a lot of DIY items! From the table numbers, marquee letters, wedding favours to name a few.

Just keep it simple and if anything goes wrong, just wing it. The day goes by so fast, every now and then take a step back, relax and try to take everything in.
