The Olive Press
This versatile venue offers the flexibility of an indoor and outdoor setting with its exposed poplar roof trusses. Take in the views of the striking Simonsberg Mountains as you overlook the meadow garden - perfect for canapés, live entertainment or some fun lawn games for you and your guests to unwind whilst your photographer captures candid snapshots of your wedding against the backdrop of the Cape Winelands. The Olive Press can accommodate 200 people in a secluded setting and is sure to add a dynamic touch to your wedding day. An immaculate blank canvas, just waiting for your special touch, The Olive Press allows you complete freedom to bring your wedding vision to life. With its already stylish finishes, statement fireplace and an eclectic bar, it’s no wonder The Olive Press is such an exclusive choice of venue and was subsequently our choice in venue for the opening Friday night dinner of this year’s Bride of the Year Competition by SA Weddings.

Rhone Homestead
Despite being synonymous with the year that was 2020, intimate weddings are here to stay! Ideal for an intimate outdoor wedding affair, Rhone Homestead provides a private yet historical Cape Dutch venue, including a beautifully manicured private garden. The Rhone Rose Garden functions as a picnic site and is in close proximity to The Cellar Door Wine Tasting Room, allowing for pre or post wedding activities that will enable an immersive wedding experience for you and your guests.

Mountain Villa
Nestled at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountain, this six bedroom villa can accommodate 100 guests in an outdoor wedding ceremony. With 360° views of the Franschhoek Wine Valley, the Mountain Villa brings its own luxe farm living flair - the perfect venue for a distinguished celebration.

The Retreat
This venue has much to offer and guaranteed opportunities to create memories for a lifetime. Host to various cottages, a communal boma, natural swimming pool as well as an indoor cinema, lounge, dining room and sports field, The Retreat is perfect for pre and post wedding activities. Its views are perfect for an outdoor reception for up to 72 guests.

Private Picnics
For a more rustic, casual wedding affair or even a pre wedding celebration, Boschendal is home to two picnic areas, namely The Rhone Rose Garden Picnic and Werf Picnic area. Enjoy a farm-to-table feast under the tall oak trees at Rhone Rose Garden or take it easy around the Werf Picnic Area pavilion, whilst having a relaxing time on bean bags and hammocks - pure wedding weekend bliss!

Orchard Cottages
Ideal for family and friends, the Orchard Cottages provide a relaxed setting for a small group. With its rustic yet contemporary style, enjoy a modern twist of the classic farm life. Take a dip in the communal pool, enjoy a stroll through the vineyards, brave the hiking and mountain bike trails with quick access from your cottage or simply put your head back and enjoy a delicious braai around the fire.

Bertha’s Retreat
For a more intimate group accommodation, Bertha’s Retreat is a secluded cottage area, approximately 3,5km from the main Werf Area. This retreat is perfect for close friends and family and includes a private pool and boma ensuring a relaxed and stress-free stay.

Cottage 1685
Set against the Simonsberg Mountain, Cottage 1685 is perfect for the bridal party. Designed by Herbert-Baker and sleeping up to 10 guests, this cottage boasts a large verandah, outside dining under glorious oak trees and includes a private, eco-friendly pool. Enjoy this relaxed and private space, which also happens to be a South African Heritage Site, and create wholesome memories before your big day.

Trout Cottage
The perfect cottage for an active family: Trout Cottage is located in a secluded area on the farm and boasts access to a private dam. Take in the fragrant orchards and serene views of the vineyards before enjoying a day of some mountain biking or hiking.

Mountain Villa
