A bachelorette party is the chance for the bride-to-be to live it up with her nearest and dearest while doing something she absolutely loves. In our opinion, a bachelorette party should be a weekend-long affair, because let's be honest- who doesn't want a 72-hour bubbly spree?!
Every bride-to-be is different though, so we've decided to come up with a plan on how to throw a bachelorette for each personality type.
A Las Vegas style party is the first thing that pops to mind - it will undoubtedly be a total rager, but let's spice things up a bit. Be the trendsetter of the group and choose a local hotspot. Soak up all the sun and be a complete beach goddess with (bottomless) piña coladas, margaritas or bubbly. If not, an all inclusive resort with an awesome nightlife scene, fun activities and a bar in every direction will get the job done!
Partying it up all weekend long, Mardi Gras-style, is another option, too.
Why not rent a beach house complete with a pool, DJ and chef (make sure he's eye candy!) Let everyone else do the hard work while you lounge by the pool.
It wouldn't be a pool party without some fun floats and just think of all the great photo opportunities, too!
Plan a glamping getaway! It's the perfect combination of soaking up the outdoors and embracing the amazing activities and scenery camping has to offer, but your upscale room will be way more chic than a tiny tent! It will surely keep the girls who have trouble with dirt, happy.
The choice is all yours to stay in a luxurious treehouse, cabin or maybe a yurt?
Hopping on a plane to Napa Valley might be a thrilling idea, but stick to the local wine industry. Spend a weekend in Franschhoek and travel the wine tram touring the countryside and hitting up some of the most famous vineyards in the Western Cape. This will have your bride-to-be swooning.
As nothing gets the party going like a wine hopping tour, right? Our motto is, "save your carbs for wine, its called 'priorities'".
The best bet would be to throw a cabana party on the sand, duh!
Whip out those coordinating floppy sun hats (that we know you all have) and soak up the rays and party on the beach all night. Things are looking great for you gals all weekend long.
A weekend spent relaxing with enormous amounts of spa treatments (and fuzzy slippers, of course!) is what this bride-to-be deserves. Don't forget to slip into those gorgeous silk robes and toast with many glasses of bubbles.
It will be a rejuvenating and luxurious getaway with your girls.
How does a weekend spent horseback riding sound? It's the ultimate choice for you animal loving friend. If she's hesitant spending so much time with hunky ranch dudes, maybe take a trip up the Garden Route to the Tsitsikamma Wolf Sanctuary or visit the ever-charasmatic alpacas in Paarl! All three ideas offer tons of fun activities after dark too, including a few barn dances and live music.
Tree hopping in the Tsitsikamma won’t hurt, either.
Taking your music loving bride-to-be to a festival or even throwing a Coachella themed party for her is the way to go. She'll totally understand not all of you loving the idea of spending a weekend at an upcoming trance party.
Make the best of this weekend though by adding some bold and brilliant flower crowns, and please don't forget the tribal tat's we know you love!
If your bride-to-be is a homebody, stick to a boozy brunch. Spend the rest of the day pampering yourselves with mani's and pedi's and all the works. If you live close to the city, you'll find many trendy brunch spots to hit.
Adopt the bottomless drinks and partying the day away.
Each and every bride-to-be is different - make sure her bachelorette weekend belongs to her and you as her BFFS must make absolutely sure it's the best it can be!
