From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed with warmth, calm energy and the sense that we were about to be properly looked after. After a guided tour through the spa’s beautiful on-site offerings, we made our way up the circular staircase to the treatment level, already feeling completely removed from everyday life.
While waiting for our therapists, we settled in with herbal tea, chilled water and light snacks. No sense of hurry or ticking clocks, just a gentle transition into relaxation and exactly how a spa experience should begin.

The ladies’ change room feels like stepping into a soft pink heaven. Clean, calm and beautifully designed, with secure lockers, spacious showers, and even hairdryers and straighteners ready to use. While getting ready to change into our robes, we chatted to another guest who was spending the day at the spa. She laughed and admitted she was genuinely disappointed in herself for not planning better and staying longer. She wished she’d carved out more time to fully soak it all in. And honestly? We understood exactly what she meant.
Our 60-minute Pinotage massage was done using Lanzerac’s signature Pinotage-infused oil, the treatment felt deeply grounding, earthy, warm and comforting. The scent alone sets the tone for complete relaxation and as the massage began, the world softened. A gentle, water-like soundtrack in the background and confident hands that instinctively understood pressure and pace. This wasn’t a standard, run-of-the-mill massage but intuitive, unforced and impeccably professional.
Our post treatment surprise was a lovely glass of bubbles before the next chapter of relaxation followed. There was no sense of hurry. Instead, after a leisurely swim, we settled outside on the deck with relaxed shoulders, simply admiring the mountain views that surrounded us, sipping our bubbles and chatting easily about the exciting things on the horizon for 2026.
