Johannesdal 1207, with its unique charm and wealth of amenities, is an exclusive destination where guests can gather in style and create lasting memories with friends, family, and loved ones.
Our expansive Hall features large windows boasting breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and can accommodate up to 160 guests with a dance floor. Included in the venue hire are tables, chairs, cutlery, main plates and water glasses. Our two sprawling garden terraces provide unmatched views of the surrounding mountains, making them an ideal setting for an open-air ceremony or an early morning/late-afternoon event.
The Blue Room is a soundproof reception area perfect for smaller gatherings or dancing the night away. In case of bad weather, this space can host pre-function cocktails or ceremonies. The Terrace under the Oak, where a towering old oak tree provides shade over a secluded space, is perfect for pre/post-function drinks and can accommodate up to 100 people for an outdoor event. Connecting directly to the Terrace under the Oak, our Waterlily Garden, where a charming small garden pavilion overlooks the lily ponds, is ideal for pre-function drinks or intimate outdoor gatherings.
Johannesdal 1207 can accommodate eighteen guests in nine luxurious suites. Saffron, Waterlily, Pomegranate, Bougainvillea and Wisteria Suites open onto a shared pool courtyard with a sparkling lap pool. The romantic Cardamom Suite offers privacy with stunning mountain views, a small verandah, and an enclosed garden. The elegant Silvertree Suite features its own private courtyard with a plunge pool. Each suite is equipped with luxurious en-suite bathrooms, high-quality natural fiber bedding, and king-size beds that can be split into twins.
