Isiphiwo has two chapels to choose from. The bell tower chapel caters for couples planning a large wedding reception and is used with the banquet hall, which can accommodate up to 300 guests.
This chapel features large, gothic style doors and a bell tower and is situated in lush surroundings. It's a big, elegant space that's perfect for romantic celebrations in any season. In summer the surrounding trees form a natural canopy over the chapel, creating a cool haven on hot days. Couples also have the option of using the beautifully manicured lawns and garden for an open air ceremony.
In winter, the chapel takes on a whole different air: with fireplaces crackling inside, it's transformed into a warm, welcoming setting where couples can pledge their vows to the backdrop of a fiery African sunset.
The banquet hall offers a grand setting for your wedding reception. The style matches that of the bell tower chapel and offers various seating arrangements. It can accommodate a minimum of 60 guests and a maximum of 250 guests with a dance floor, or 300 guests without a dance floor.
The venue is climate controlled so wedding guests can celebrate late into the night, whether you're planning for a warm summer wedding or a cosy winter's day. IN fact, winter adds some extra magic to the setting with fireplaces out on the terrace where people can dance, drink and be merry.
Whimsical water features and strings of soft fairy lights in the gardens add ambience for an unforgettable evening.
If you're looking to create a smaller, intimate event, the Imbali Chapel is the way to go. The paved footpath where the bride enters gives an earthy feel to this classy, personal venue, which is situated in a part of the garden that is surrounded by fountains and tall trees. Here you can host a tranquil, uniquely personal wedding ceremony that caters for close knit friends and family.
This chapel is usually combined with the Imbali venue, which can accommodate up to 70 guests.
With views of the surrounding mountains and impala grazing in the nearby veld, the Imbali venue feels like coming home to Africa. The year-round green gardens and magnificaent mountains makes for a city escape for both you and your guests and is the perfect way to round up a day of intimate romance.
This hall offers a seated dinner for up to 70 people with round tables covered in cream or white damask linen. Pre-drinks and finger platters are served on the lawn, where rustic tables, chairs and linen umbrellas complete the look. Guests can also enjoy a drink and some small talk in the bar area situated just off the dance floor.
If you book your wedding at Isiphiwo, the bride and groom can enjoy a complimentary honeymoon suite.
This suite will be available from 11am on the day of the wedding, is specially prepared for the couple and features an outdoor pool and boma with the Magaliesberg as backdrop. In addition, special accommodation rates are available for wedding guests so they can enjoy the day without the worry of driving back home.
All the suites in the hotel are open plan with high ceilings and air conditioning. Rooms are supplied with only the finest linen and the large, oval baths with complimentary luxury body products can't help but conjure images of long, hot bubble baths – it's just what you need to release the stress of wedding planning and last minute jitters in the few hours running up to the bid day.
Couples also have the option to upgrade their package to include the Villa. This way the bride and bridesmaids have enough space to do their preparations in the Villa while the groom and groomsmen get ready in the Honeymoon Suite.
