I took my first cake decorating course in 1981 at the age of 20. Being the niece of a well-known cake decorator (Lida) in the town she lived, it was a small seed that was sown. (I always admired my aunt’s work)
I made cakes for family and friends before the love of sugar art took full speed. Jeanette’s Cake Creations was born in 2012 where baking and making sugar flowers became a full-time passion. I study the real flowers in depth, to help me create a sugar-flower as realistic as I possibly can.
My daughter, Cheree, joined me in 2013. Having an artistic bone, she immediately loved sculpting anything with sugar. I wanted to share my gift and started teaching anyone who shared my love of sugar-craft and helped them create their own beautiful flower decorations and wedding cakes. We teach various classes all over the African continent, sharing our craft with other cake decorators.
We have also featured in the Feb 2019 edition of the Cake Masters Magazine.
Striving to give our clients and students the best quality work and freshest tasting cakes at any event, never leaving a crumb behind.
