So funny story.
Me and my fiance live like 30 minutes from each other. And never run into each other or met or even seen each other before.
We are both into racing..so one weekend me and my family went on a trip to Springbok where my dad took part in racing...
So during the day my dad went over to on of the other competitor to talk and i saw a cute guy standing near them ..so i went over aswell lol.
It was extremely hot that day and i over heard them talking about going to the hotel to take a swim..my father then said me and my brother should join.
So we walk up to the hotel and started talking along the way.
At the end of the night we went to our camp site .
I was looking al over social media trying to find his profile that night..but he found it first and send me a message and we talked the whole night... we started seeing each other more often at the race track inmy town.and yah ..it was just love at first sight
So we started dating in 2018 and after almost 6 years on 21 October 2024 we got engaged at the beach... it was also right before i had to go overseas for work... he actually had it planed out for the next weekend but my job needed me earlier..so i bombed his plans a little..but i would not trade it..
I was extremely happy and emotional i wanted this for so long and having to leave after that broke my heart a little ..but forever grateful
