We met in varsity writing NBT test, became friends for three years. He slept over on the 12th of fe 2013 and being the good friend I needed to return the favor. Favor led to us talking for hours until it was exactly 01h15 on 14th of February 2013, where I told him that his good deeds did not go unnoticed and would love for us to try being more than friends.
We've literally matured together from being 21 to now almost 30.
As usual we celebrate our monthversary on the 14 of each month and the big anniversary on the 14th of February. He popped the question on the 13th of February 2022 at Haartesbeespoort cable way just as we got off the cable car. We planned a weekend away for our 9 year anniversary and went to cable way in Haartesbeespoort. He arranged with the manager Ruben to have a banner with a will you Marry me sign. We got off and being nosy me, I had to read the sign as I'm reading the sign he kneels down and said all bunch of good stuff. I was blacked out from the surprise I legit only heard will you marry me after such a long journey. I screamed yes a million times.
