The most memorable moment of our wedding day must have been walking down the aisle! I was so nervous as I approached the aisle, but as I looked at my husband to be, all the nerves went away! It felt like a movie moment! Where there was no one else in the room except the two of us!
We didn't plan on going on a honeymoon, however right after the wedding we got a special on flight tickets. So we went to Cape Town with our 2 year old son and had a family honeymoon.
Everything was even better than I imagined!
I tried on a million dresses, and when I saw this one I just knew it was the one! It's a tight fitted dress that shows the shape of my body with a lace-like look at the top.
I had an upstyle hair with a tiara and my make up was done with natural colours.
I didn't stress too much on my accessories, I just wore what I had at home. I did make sure I had my something new, something blue, something old and something borrowed!
We decided to get married not too far away so I guests didn't have the extra expense of sleeping overnight somewhere. We got married at a place called "The Forest Walk" in Midrand.
I had so much planned, but never got around doing any beauty regime!
Flowers are so expensive! We only finalized a florist 2 weeks before the wedding! We first wanted to do the flower arrangements ourselves, but decided not to at the last minute!
The rest of the decorations was included with the venue.
The groom worse a navy suits, the groomsmen wore navy pants with white long shirts and brown suspenders.
The bridesmaids all had their own unique dresses made, each bridesmaid got to choose their design. I just chose the colour of the dresses, which was blush pink.
We met a lady at a previous wedding and absolutely loved her! Her name is Marilyn
No planner! Our Venue pretty much made sure the day went as we wanted.
Our delicious cake was made by a Family friend. It was a two tier naked cake.
We had a three course meal prepares by our wedding Venue.
Two weeks before the wedding we realized that we had no clue how to dance! We etched YouTube videos, but on the day we just went with the flow.
