Magical Moments

My wedding was a princess moment for me. Staring into each others eyes at the end and saying our "untraditional" vows was the most memorable moment of the day - holding back the tears and beaming with pride was the epitome of the day.

The Honeymoon

Yes, we jet of to the Maldives for a well deserved destress - and to start our life off right (winkwink)

My Special Day

My wedding was planned in two weeks- so I was rushed for booking time. All i knew was that i wanted a traditional Hindi bridal look.
I was lucky to get Bridal dressing, hair and make up from Bella Sue.
My Outfit, jewellery and Accessories were purchased from Bold and Beautiful designs in Umhlanga

The Venue

Since we tried to do the Indian version of eloping - we hosted the intimate fuction at home in Westville, Durban.
Our back yard was transformed into a beautiful Mandaap with elegant green and White and a touch of Gold.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

With just 2 weeks the only real beauty regime i could get into whist running around was drinking plenty of water. this definitely helped the skin moisten up for the extravagant bridal makeup applied.

Wedding Elements

Exotic Decor turned a few random pictures of what we wanted into a reality.
The red isle, beautiful green and white flowers on golden podiums, accented the beautiful high gloss stage area allowing our Red outfits to remain as the center of attention.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

the groom had also been lucky to get the complete outfit and accessories from Bold and Beautiful Umhlanga.
All his jewellery was purchased and personalized at Browns Galleria,

Beautiful Bridesmaids

we opted to shy away from a bridal party - to conclude the illusion of eloping

Marriage Officer

we were lucky enough to have the officiating priest (Pundit Deepak Maharaj of Reservoir Hills) also play as marriage officer to ensure that the union was in fact registered of our chosen date (22.2.22).

My Captured Moments

The video and photography for the function was captured by Mekhail Salik Photography.
The after function photo shot was done by Bridaltech - Adhir.

The Wedding Planner

If Hubster and Myself count as planners we were 100% on the ball in coordinating and making our perfect day a reality

Wedding Stationery

Hand made by Janine was our service provider- providing an elegant acrylic invitations and memorabilia tying into our unconventional traditional wedding theme

The Reception and Entertainment

We opted to not have a reception on the day - but plan it for a future date to have the whole "big fat indian" wedding vibes :)
