A few years back De Hoop Collection’s Nini and William Stephens had seen the potential of an old storage shed and it emerged, like a butterfly from a chrysalis, after renovations into a fine function venue, perfectly suited to all special occasions - winter weddings in particular.

Plan ahead for your winter Wedding - De Hoop Collection offers bridal couples a Winter Wedding package, available from mid-May to end July, that comes with a 20% discount on accommodation for a two-night stay, for a party of 70 guests(maximum) and a venue fee of R59 000 (minimum).
The Package includes:
The night before the Wedding – ‘Friday Night potjie’ - where you get to enjoy a potjie in the boma with your family and friends, around a campfire;
The ceremony - take your vows under the beautiful old Fig Tree or overlooking the spectacular vlei or in the Cloete Room - ceremony benches, hessian runner and sewejaartjie confetti is included, while bouquets, corsages and buttonaires are quoted separately;
Eats after the ceremony - winter warmers: gourmet Smores Bar with marshmallows, nuts, sprinkles and chocolate, spicy biscuits, cheese straws and warm homemade bread rolls with patés, around a bonfire. Drinks after the ceremony - white hot chocolate shots and Glühwein served in enamel mugs, quoted separately.
The Reception - in The Shed with a cosy, warm fire inside with tables around the dance area;
The set winter Menu - the bride and groom can create a three course set menu from: a choice of three soups served with de Hoop homemade bread; one of the three delicious hearty main courses and a choice of three desserts for a pudding table.
There is a 15% discount on wedding drinks and tables, white table cloths and napkins, standard white crockery and glasses, simple fynbos in vases and candles are also included.
