The greatest part of marrying the man of my dreams, was seeing the love and joy that surrounded us by the most incredible family and friends. There was not a dry eye under those beautiful trees. I will never forget the moment I stood at the alter, my soon to be husband's hand in mine, the sun at just the right angle and the love that seemed to flow around us.
Bali was a magical place to go for our honeymoon! We loved every moment and made the most of our 12 night stay full of adventures, swimming with the sea turtles, enjoying delicious meals and walking through the villages hand in hand.
We got married at Mogalakwena River Lodge, one of Limpopo's best kept secrets. Our guests stayed over for two nights to enjoy a Boma dinner in the bush and get to enjoy the tranquility of the lodge. It really is a place to visit even just for a night or two.
We had the most incredible team around us, My Mom, Dad and Sister helped us with all the fine details of the wedding. Planning each moment and aspect of the weekend with thought. We wanted the weekend to be an experience, for our two families and all our friends to join as one.
My mom, Kim Abraham, is an incredibly talented lady. She designed and made my wedding dress. My dress had pieces that could be taken off for different parts of the evening AND she made my outfits to suit every aspect of the weekend. Not only did she make my dress but she also made her own gown AND all my bridesmaids dresses. I will forever be grateful!
Kelly Lombard Photography captured our incredible day with her unbelievable photos! Cinastage Studios were the vidoeographers who took us right back to the special day.
The food was prepared by Isabella and the incredible team at Mogalakwena River Lodge. All our guests commented on how delicious the food was, simple but delicious! Our cake was made up of three tiers. Part of it was baked so perfectly by my Mom-In-Law, it was sooooo spectacular. The rest of the cake was supplied by my new cousin David Shuttleworth from with an Ola cake.
