How did your love story begin?

All is fair in love and war...
It can be said that this expression is harsh but many people know that the heart wants what the heart wants. We met through our friends and connected instantly. I was dating my fiance's friend at this stage but when we broke up i started hanging out with his friend a lot. (they were not friends for very long) It started off as a friendship and then later when we were both single started to meet up more often. From the start we felt it was right and tried our best not to look back and listen to the people's criticisms around us. After a few months of dating our relationship became official. We both new that we were meant to be. We moved in together after 3 months of dating and shortly after that adopted our two babies (Doggies). We instantly became a family and felt like we were in heaven. Not long after that we bought a house and rescued another doggy. Then we got engaged!!!

Tell us all about the proposal.

So we were talking about the future and getting married. I was on Pinterest constantly searching for the perfect engagement ring. I also hinted and showed him what I was looking at. He told me to relax and that it will happen in time. A Few weeks later we were on our way to friends wedding which was on the Saturday, but we went for the weekend. He told me to look for a nice place to stay in the Drakensburg (it was winter) for the first night. I showed him a very cute isolated cabin in the woods in a mountain valley. He said not to tell him how much it costs and just book it. When we arrived he told me to dress up as we were going out for supper. So we did. We had dinner and a few drinks. When we got back to the cabin he told me to dress down and get comfortable. Upon returning to the lounge, he was standing in front of the lit fire place with two glasses of wine.. I though wow!! that looks so romantic.. not knowing what was going to happen I made a joke. He laughed and said come here. He started quoting our fave song and saying how much he loved me. He went down on one knee and popped the question. He put on the ring I did not even look at it I just kissed and hugged him. I immediately yelled yes!! It was definitely a big surprise and the best moment of my life!!
