I would describe our wedding ceremony as traditional yet modern. It was situated in a conference room at the Breakers Resort, the decor included all the required traditional aspects but also maintained a young fresh simple look with bright fresh florals along the entire stage and an emerald green velvet couch for us to be seated on.
Our wedding reception was held in the garden at the Breakers Resort under a white stretch tent, overlooking the Hawaan forest. The overall appearance was clean cut, simple and elegant. The colour scheme was white and gold with greenery. Table decor: A mix of white high gloss rectangular and round tables, simple fresh flowered centerpieces complimented with candles. The flowers used were all white; orchids, tulips, hydrangeas and lilies. Stage Decor: Plain white artificial flower wall with a white and gold couch.
Soft natural lighting was used for both.
Decor, flowers, lighting, tables and chairs were designed and set up by Sanolia Naidoo (Soiree Concepts)

A very close friend of mine is a graphic designer, she designed our wedding stationary for us.
Our reception was short and to the point , we had speeches from a few family and friends followed by the cake cutting and our first dance. We took a few dance lessons at the very last minute so our first dance was not very rehearsed.
First Dance Song:
Lauryn Hill - Cant take my eyes of you
