We had 3 weddings. 2 Traditional Weddings and our white wedding.
The First Traditional wedding took place on the 17th November at home in Mahikeng- North West. The highlights was the traditional aspect of the wedding. We wore traditional attires and we danced on the street with the traditional dancers and brass band.
The Second Wedding was the White wedding which took place on Friday, 23rd November 2018 at Red Ivory Wedding lodge in Hartebeespoort. The highlights of the day was when I drove with my Father in the Rolls Royce and walking to the alter with him. My Mother cried when she saw me.
My husband and I did not prepare any vows. We spoke from the heart.I got my husband emotionally after I vowed to him, this was memorable since I have never seen him cry in the past 05 years we've been together.
The third wedding was held on Saturday, 24th November 2018 at Garankuwa- Pretoria. This was a Traditional wedding too. I was being handed over to the Groom's family officially. The highlight of the day was when I had to change my clothes. I wore Ndebele and Sepedi tradition which symbolises that I'm officially part of their culture. Another highlight was the rain. We did not finish the formal programme in the tent it started raining with hail and we all had to evacuate the tent. In my culture rain symbolise blessings so I know our weddings were blessed.
We have not went on honeymoon yet due to financial constraints that came with 3 leg Celebration. I'm hoping next year when we celebrate our first year Anniversary. We would love to go to Maldives.
