It took 9 and a half years, 4 attempts, and a lot of sweat and tears for our special day to finally arrive.
On the 9th of December, 2017. I married my best friend, My companion, He lifts me up when i'm down, he supports me with every step I take and he loves me for who I am.
The Highlight that I will never never never forget - Is when I saw Heinrich with tears rolling down his face when he saw me for the first time. I could see his love for me through his eyes.
Our Special day was more than we could ever dream off!
We are so grateful for all our guests, Friends and family who had a part in sharing our big day with us!!
We didn't go on Honeymoon yet, but we plan to go to Cape Town on our 1st Anniversary. ♥
I had a long veil, so I had a bun effect hairstyle, soft make-up done by the "most adorable and most awesome" Make up Artist - Alta Viljoen from AV Makeup Artistry.
I also decided to keep my accessories plain, (Diamond an Pearls) with the most comfortable ballerina pumps.
We got married on "Ysterberg Oord".
The venue is about +_ 30km outside Polokwane.
Most of our close family stayed over.
We had wooden tables, with greenery and blush pink roses. Silver under plates, and wooden chandeliers.
Hubby decided that he wanted a blue-ish suit, and that's what I arranged for him.
I decided not to have any Bridesmaids.
We only had one 4 year old flower girl, and one ring bearer.
We had the wonderful privilege to recieve a strong message by Heinrich's Uncle "Oom Giepie".
Oom Giepie did the Ceremonial part for us, and the official officer was Past. F.Kruger.
Marlien Bruwer Photography - She is an absolute sweetheart and she knows exactly what her clients expects.
Yes!!! Antoinette Le Roux.
My dear sister - I will never know how to thank her enough.
She came all the way from Cape Town to assist in every small and last detail for our wedding day.
She worked on having the hall 101% perfect, our Food, Getting me dressed etc..
Dankie sus! ♥
It was no need for arranging any transport, all the locations were close enough at the venue.
Our wedding cake was made by Noelene's Creations.
We had options of Red Velvet and Carrot Cake. ♥
The most delicious cake ever!!
Our canapés and mains were made on site by our Faimly. We had a "spit braai" (Pork & Lamb) which the owners of the venue prepared for us.
I did all the stationary myself (#DIYBRIDE)
We had a total blast!! We partied till 3am in the morning even though the music was not even playing anymore.
Our DJ was Hainrich Faber, we went to the same Primary School and we lost contact over the last few years. I then got his number and knew that it would be special for us to have him at our wedding to do the music, lightning and live band. Hainrich had his band playing on drums, saxophone and guitars while we went to do our Couple Photo-session.
