As a somewhat non-traditional couple, we decided to have our photographs taken before the ceremony.
- The highlight is the moment he turned around and saw me, the moment was private and very personal. Being able to share the moment between just the two of us. I'll never forget that discussion.

My mom made my dress :)
We each chose a colour (Her: Copper / Him: Dark Blue / Navy) The look and feel were bits and bobs of individual items we both liked and put together.
We got married at one of our fav places to have lunch. Wild Clover Brewery in Stellenbosch.
I did the occasional facemask, but most importantly drank water and continued gyming.
Copper Elements such as the underplates and Lanterns were rented from: Vicky at Something Borrowed
Flowers were bought from: Bunches for Africa and the arrangements were done by my mom and step dad.
The gents all looked dashing in their attire.
Groom Suit and Waistcoats: Mr Suit Hire
Shoes: Tread + Miller
Everyone got to wear what they wanted to.
Confort and having fun was my top priority.
I can not recommend a more professional and fun photographer: Linda Smal
She captured all the moments I requested, made the shoots so comfortable to just have fun and has such a positive happy attitude. She also has a knack for seeing an opportunity within the current environment and goes for it. I loved every minute of it.
I did everything myself along with the help of friends and family.
On the day the owner of the brewery did a fantastic job in making sure things went according to plan, thank you Karin.
Friends and Family really came together in assisting on this one. As we dressed on the venue, i didnt opt for a special car.
The venue did the food, we wanted to serve our fav meal: Pulled Pork on a homemade Beer Bun with potato wedges and onion rings.
The cake was done by a fabulous artist: Ansia Kohrs
I designed the artwork myself and did everything digitally
I did not take dancing lessons and did a side to side shuffle like in my teens as I cannot dance well.
