I love asymmetry! When I tried the dress on I knew immediately that this is my style and it compliments my body. I chose asymmetry for my hair to match my dress and the final look came together brilliantly. For my shoes I chose a Steve Madden wedge which we altered, adding a navy lace detail to give it texture and colour. For my jewellery, I went for Swarovski as I've been a fan of their beautiful designs since I was a teenager. Their jewellery is truly timeless. For my make-up I chose a more natural look with bronze eyes and nude pink lips to match my skin tone. Overall I could describe my look as naturally elegant.
The day started off with sunshine and slight overcast weather rolled in. Thanks to the amazing team at Collisheen, along with the decor specialist from For The Table, everything was set up early and beautifully! We only ran 10 minutes late but other than that everything ran smoothly. The "I do's" was a tear-jerking event, the food was amazing and the party was a blast. I can safely say that nothing went noticeably wrong and the wedding was a complete success. The best part of the day, for me, was seeing my fiancé standing in the church for the first time in 2 days and then holding my husband's hand after putting on the rings. A memorable day that none of us will ever forget!
