On the 17th of September I had the privilege of marrying my best friend Simeon du Preez!
The day started off with the boys playing rugby on the beach and the girls getting their makeup & hair done by the incredible Charelle McAllister & Jaco Janse van Rensburg. It started raining early that day but thanks to our wedding planner Ginny Eslick I had nothing to worry about. Sue Baxter transformed our venue into a fairytale with Colombian orchids and 12000 Kenyan roses. Brett Florens and Michelle Rabe where there every step of the way, capturing every special moment with our family and friends. I could not slip into my princess dress, created by Anel Botha, soon enough. I not only had a groom waiting but as soon as I entered the ceremony Gerhard Steyn sang my father and I's favourite song. The ceremony was everything I hoped for.
It was then time to enter the spectacular Pearl Room for the party. I slipped into a playful feather dress for the first dance created by the very talented Gert van der Merwe. I felt like the luckiest girl alive to have such a handsome husband spin me around on the dance floor. The incredible chef Kevin spoiled our guests with the most amazing food. DJ Vivian kept the dance floor going and Nadine and Gerhard Steyn performed some of their best songs. I am still so thankful for the incredible family and friends that came all the way from across the country to have shared our wedding day with us.
It was undoubtedly the best day of my life!
