It started as a dream when we started to plan or wedding day in the beginning of 2015...The original plan was to get married in November 2015, despite all our effort and planning God kept showing us that the time was not right and that he wanted us to walk in righteousness...3 days before our wedding day the wedding we postponed for the reason that we submitted ourselves to God and the leaders of our church in order to be whole when walking into the new beginning that is God's heart.
We paused all our dreams to fit into God's plans for us, we didn't want to make any mistake.
Chris and I started talking about things that needed to come to a point and we started praying that God will show us. Soon after that Chris was shown the 10th of September, without knowing if it is a Saturday or if there is a festival or what the weather would do I started to phone people.
Finding out that it was the annual festival in town but it got cancelled a two days ago. The wedding venue that we had in mind was wide open and they gave us the biggest discount without knowing that we had a huge loss with our previous planning.
With all in place, but nervous about money for our day, we trusted God, because we knew what he wanted in place is. The harvest was ready...
We had no rain the morning of our wedding day, knowing that we are getting married at 16hoo had me excited for what was and is yet to come. By 15h00 I was dressed and ready to marry that Godly man that God has blessed me with.
Our message from our pastor was hard and firm but we knew that the table we prepared by God and we are now sitting at His feast. God was faithful to His promises and that was that we wanted a day where everyone chosen by Him will attend the wedding and receive something from it.
Waking us the next morning to my Godly and fearful husband I knew that this was only the beginning of God's plans for us. We are eager to bless others in the years to come and serve God as He served us on our blessed day.
