Oh thinking back to this wonderful day brings joy and much happiness to my heart. Honestly, when I look at my life and the events that transpired I never thought I would get married. Today I'm witnessing God's miracle at work...I'm Mrs Mtiki, who would have thought?
I woke up so nervous and full of excitement at the same time, IT WAS MY DAY! My family and friends will be coming to celebrate my union WITH THE LOVE OF MY LIFE! My house was busying with excitement, aunts ulilating, rushing to get ready on time...and then I get to the venue, it was finally my timw to walk in the chapel.
As I was walking in looking straight into my husbands' eyes seeing his nervous face, thinking of how far we've come and how the journey was not easy...at this moment I'm crying thinking it WAS ALL WORTH IT!
The ceremony was beautiful beyond words, I can't explain it, God favoured us, His presence was there, and finally we exchanged our vows - how intimate - I remember crying when I said "I'll go where ever you go, your people will be my people", that's the life I promised my love!
We moved on to take pictures, what a lovely venue Domaine Brahms, the weather was perfect, like really perfect. Every moment I took was just like a dream, I couldn't believe it was happening.
The reception was amazing, not too long, my MC was on point! We were running out of time, but she managed to keep things on track. I will never forget my sister's speech, words close to my heart when she said - "I pray that God make make you an exemplary couple among your peers and may you always rely on Him and stand for his Truth", what blessings!! Oh God I am really in AWE and AMAZED at your faithfulness, love, and presence.
This will always be a memorable, special day in my life, and to my husband..I LOVE U NANA! You are my pillar, my rock and strength, I'm honoured and priviledged to be called your wife!
