It was a beautiful winters day in Muldersdrift. Nothing short of a fairytale, but not without some challenges of course. We were a bit sceptical about cold weather at first but we quickly realised that the day would work out perfectly in an extraordinary way just like all the preparations leading to the day.
We experienced quite the rollercoaster ride due to retrenchment scares and admin issues here and there but we stayed positive and pushed on through, experiencing the hand of Grace around every corner and before every decision. This of course was not easy, but definitely all worth it when the day finally arrived.
Seeing how everything came together, from the idyllic chapel with a surprise performance by Corlea to the elegant, classic and clean reception hall, all in white with candles in abundance setting a calm and romantic mood.My absolutely amazing husband surprised me with a song he sang himself, linking it to our first dance and made it so much more special. We danced the night away, enjoying every moment together and sharing those wonderful moments with family and friends.
We would do it all again in a single heartbeat, from that moment we got engaged right through to when the reception finished and we greeted everyone to be on our way. What a privilege!!
