Every girl dreams about her big day, but wow! Our wedding day was even better than anything I could have dreamed of.
Jan-Albert and I got engaged at Allesverloren Wine Estate in the Riebeek Valley. He led me to the chapel area in the woods where he asked the big question. It was so special that we decided to get married there too. We share so many memories of this spot which we will treasure in our hearts forever.
Planning our wedding was so exciting. I was quite relaxed and loved every moment. I had so much support from my mothers-in-law, sisters, family, friends and our service providers.
When I woke up on the wedding day, the first thing that came to mind was: This is the day I’m getting married to my prince charming! It’s happening! We stayed at the lovely Shiraz Estate for the weekend and their breakfast was amazing. I was very relaxed on the day and everything went according to plan.
My father walked me down the aisle and when I saw Jan-Albert, we both smiled with tears in our eyes. He looked so handsome and happy.
We had a beautiful ceremony and wedding reception.
