23rd of April 2016, what an joy filled, fun and above all filled with love day we had. I got married to the one man that truly knows my heart, the one whom my soul loves!
It was a bushveld weekend wedding at Tsekama Wedding and Game Lodge in Modimole, some guest enjoyed a boma braai with us on the Friday evening. The Saturday Morning you could already feel the excitement, with everybody preparing for the big day.
Our decor was simple but so beautiful, Francois inspired me by incorporating rose gold into my engagement ring. I fell in love with the colour which brought life to the succulents,Proteas and The origami cranes that we used. Its a Japanese tradition, when you fold a 1000 origami cranes together you will have a happy marriage.
My Dress was made by Diaan Daniels Couture , Its a beautiful open-back, mermaid dress, with so much detail, lace and crystals.
Some of the special moments that will forever be captured in my heart, was walking down the isle to see my person waiting there for me, my heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest. Then of course the first kissed shared as husband and wife, and definitely has to be the photo session as Mr & Mrs, just that little alone time together before the Celebrations start. Thanks to Duck Soup photography for capturing these special moments.
