Adeline Serakoane

Adeline Serakoane

Married on Apr 9, 2016

My wedding was a two day ceremony where we incorporated a western wedding together with a traditional Sesotho and Sepedi wedding. Our journey started of on the 9th of April in our Church in Soweto where we exchanged our Vows and later went back to my township Protea North. We had our reception there, changed into our traditional Sesotho Attires and danced the night away. I remember my mom calling out to me so i can start packing my bags as my husbands family was on their way to fetch their bride that was around 23:00 the same night. My system got a shock for the first time that truly i was leaving my family home. Up we went in the wits of the night to my husbands home. On the 10th the next morning i changed into another beautiful dress to embrace my new family the Serakoanes, they welcomed me with such warm hands and made sure i feel like home. a wonderful day that saw me into my beautiful colourful Sepedi dress embracing my husbands tradition and family. the best two days of my life. The SERAKOANES HAVE THEIR BRIDE
