Everybody who has been to the South African Cape is aware of the unpredictable weather. For the months leading up to our big day I said a prayer daily for good weather (or at least for the hour we would be on the beach). God heard my prayers. The week leading up to the wedding was constant rain and wind. I can't recall seeing sunshine... until Saturday morning when I woke up to light cloud cover and open skies on the horizon. The amazing thing is that the air was still saturated with moisture so all the photos have a fairy tale like haze making for the most amazing lighting. The day after it was pouring once more. To this day I am touched by the amount of blessings we received to make our day so special.

Coen asked me to marry him in Knysna so we decided to have the wedding there also (a beach wedding has always been a dream of mine). Beautiful weather and family and friends made it unforgettable.
