Desiree Rosser

Married on Mar 27, 2016

It was a very rainy but perfect day (what would you expect for an Easter wedding). A gorgeous rustic interior, carefully laid out and put together by my team and owner of the venue, where the reception was to be held. Upon arrival guests were invited to enjoy a refresher under the trees before the ceremony. Once all of the guests had arrived they made their way into a beautiful candle lit boutique cellar, waiting for the grooms to make their entrance. The doors to the cellar opened where the groomsmen and groom made there way to the front where my husband waited in baited breath for me to make my way down the isle.

My entrance song was not the typical (Duh dum ti dum, Duuuuh dum ti dum) but rather we chose something that reminded us of one another, something that brought upon an exciting nostalgia.
Our eyes locked, I trotted down the isle to stand beside my soon to be husband, in the most perfect scenario.

Guests then proceeded to pre-drinks and hors d'oeuvres, where we had a DJ playing some of our favourite tunes, and where our guests could really relax and enjoy the surroundings.

We opted for a "tappas" dinner, we preferred to not have a "formal" feel but more of a "relax and eat when /what you like" feel. Guests walked around with their plates and helped themselves according to what their palate desired.
We also decided to play interactive games with our guests (This was intended to calm our nerves as bride and groom) We and everyone in the room had such a giggle.
The dancing started shortly after, AND IT DID NOT STOP!

The night progressed and proceeded according to plan, I could not have imagined a more perfect and picturesque event.
