Married on Feb 28, 2016 in Gauteng

Most little girls dream of a fairy tale wedding, I was not one of them! Even though I had met my Prince i still didn't have an idea of what my perfect day would look like.
Finally after 7 and a half years Wayne popped the question with a romantic picnic and the ring around our beloved Jack Russells neck :)
When Wayne and I started talking about weddings we were both on the same page that we wanted an intimate wedding with only our closet family and friends, not the normal sit down dinner etc etc. so we decided on a cocktail party!
We are both non traditional people so we even saw each other before the ceremony with our Photographer Andrew from PhotoSauce. He called it 'the reveal". This way after the ceremony we could go straight into socializing with our guests and not make them wait for us. We served delicious canapes at a garden restaurant in Illovo called La Vie En Rose (they have moved to Killarney since we got married) and had purple and white cupcakes as our wedding cake. We had loads of fun with all our friends dancing and using funny props in some of our pictures, these pictures are my favorite and are actually hanging up in my entrance at home:)
As any bride will say the day goes so fast and in a blink of the eye your big day is over, Wayne and I fondly look at our pictures every time we walk into our home knowing that our day was a celebration of our love and commitment to each other!
