Courtneigh Bernstein

Married on Feb 7, 2016 in Gauteng

In the heart of Braamfontein, on the 7 February 2016, on the top floor of Shine Studios stood a magnificent chuppah ( religious structure) draped in white orchids and the bridal couples late grandfathers traditional fabric coverings called taleisim. After an emotional and exciting pre wedding tradition called the Beddeken Gary covered Courtneigh with her veil and went to meet her at the chuppah. The most spiritual ceremony filled with love, song and emotion sealed the deal as the couple became husband and wife. The couple got whisked off in a 1950s vintage red corvette for photos in Juta street while the guests enjoyed the sound of the violin, giant cold gin and tonics and decandent canapés.
The reception was on the second floor of Shine Studios, overlooking the bright trains and colourful lights of Nelson Mandela Bridge. The beauty of the urban vibe with the city lights sparkling in the night. A handmade floral chandelier hangs in the middle of the dance floor covered in flowers with bright colors like purple, red and pink. Industrial decor mixed with floral compilations by the talented Gideon took the guests breath away.
The vibe was infectious and we danced the night away in celebration of this 10 year love story!
"The most memorable day of our lives spent with our nearest and dearest, memories we will forever cherish"
