After having the most romantic proposal ever, We went into wedding planning mode. After many venues, quotes and meetings we decided that the whole big wedding wasn't for us. We wanted to spend our money on our Honeymoon. We started planning a small service with immediate family only so a total of 28 guests including us. We had the service in my moms beautiful garden under a tree. We did all the decor which was very simple with a touch of rustic influence but it all came out beautifully. We both decided on writing our own vows which made it that much more special.After the service we cut our cake for our guests to enjoy with other snacks while we whipped away for some photos at Serengeti Golf course. Our guests were then asked to join us for a small intimate dinner at Emperors palace.
I got my beautiful dress from Vonve bridal Couture. I felt amazing in it and it was so comfortable. I decided on flats as it was a garden wedding. Hair and Makeup done by Melissa Vaughan and our photos taken by Chantal Flores from Kzara Visual concepts. My something borrowed was a dear friends vail, something old was a pair of earrings I received on Valentine's Day, something blue was my undies and something new a stunning bracelet as a wedding gift from hubby.
The wedding cake was made by my mom and so delicious, The grooms favorite dessert is apple crumble so it inspired my mom to make an apple sponge with a sticky apple cinnamon centre. So delicious.
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to start our happily ever after
