Chanel Botma

Married on Nov 12, 2016 in Free State

Our entire wedding was based on having a relaxed fun filled day and evening. Everything was perfect and I would not change anything, especially not the hail storm that poured from the heavens as I walked down the aisle. When I started planning my wedding I wanted the whole 'less is more', relaxed, but elegant wedding feel and that is exactly what I did.
Our Venue portrayed so much character giving this farm like yet elegant style feel. Situated just 10 km on the R500 outside Parys. The church was light and warm and was beautifully decorated by the pastel colour flowers I had chosen, along with the candles alongside the walls. The Reception hall was this large intimidating hall with gorgeous mirrors along the walls and large chandeliers. The tables were kept simple and elegant with beautiful pink & purple pastel coloured flowers.
The view from the hall overlooked the hills of the free state which added to the relaxed feeling. My dress was everything that I ever imagined it to be, finished off with the finest jewellery. My husband's suit was gorgeous and it took forever to find the perfect tie! :-)

My husband and I enjoyed every second of our wedding and we took in every moment. Our families and friends had a real feast and that was exactly what we aimed for. The food was fantastic, the music was great, photographers were brilliant and I recommend them to everyone.

The Word we received was so special and definitely blessed and meant for us, not only did we have everything we wanted on our wedding day but we could feel God's love as we became one with Him in front of our loved ones.
