A marriage consist of three: husband, wife and God. That is exactly what our wedding day and marriage means to us.
It was no easy task having a wedding and moving provinces all in the same week but thanks to God, family and friends the stress of it all was obliterated. Stephanus and I were married at Thorner country estate in the lower midlands area in KZN on the 1 October 2016.
Before Stephanus asked me to marry him he was so confident that I'd say "yes" that he had booked the venue and our wedding date without saying a word. Well I absolutely fell in love with the venue, it was exactly what I was wanting. A relaxed, farmy, vintage, South African wedding.
Thanks to my family and friends who helped with the flowers, decor and all that is involved with planning such an occasion, we had the most spectacular day and even though it was freezing cold with hail later in the evening, everything ran better than clock work. The food and wedding cake was heavenly thanks to Hayley from "A pinch of salt catering" and our guests didn't leave the dance floor until closing time.
All in all it was our perfect day and one which we will look back on fondly for the rest of our lives.
