Charl and I met about 7 years ago through my little sister Anri.
We were both on different paths at the time but on that first night we met we couldn't stop talking , we had an instant connection.
We saw each other occasionally over the 7 years and always kept in contact. Then one evening we went on a last minute date arranged by my little sister. Our paths had finally lined up and we never looked back.
He became my best friend and lover.
Charl moved down to Cape Town April 2015, was a hard move for both of us as I stayed in Pretoria for Work. We made the long distance work and never let anything come between us. It was a tough time for both of us and tested our relationship in many ways.
Then on the evening of the 8th August 2015 I picked him up from the airport to come visit for the weekend. We both grabbed a seat on the porch overlooking the beautiful city below us with the stars above us.
He looked towards me and told me that he's moving back to Pretoria. I was beyond excited and he said he got us a bottle of wine to celebrate. He passed me a wrapped bottle of wine and asked me to open it while he fetched glasses. I looked down and uncovered the bottle, I noticed there was some wording on the bottle, " Will You Marry Me ?".
I was so shocked and looked up to find him on one knee in front of me with a ring in his hand and a heart melting smile on his face. Of course I said yes! ;)
Our Wedding Day was on the 1st October 2016 at Riverside Castle. Was truly an amazing and magical day for me.
Everything was beyond perfect and I had more fun than anyone else at the reception.
That day my heart beat nervously, it stopped and began again as I started my new life as Mrs. Klein.
We have an amazing and exciting adventure ahead of us as we go into the beautiful world of marriage and soon children. .
