The 7th of October 2016, just two days before our 7 year anniversary, we woke up to what would be the most memorable and beautiful day of our lives. The day has arrived, the day where a little over a year's planning and decision making comes together to create a magical and unforgettable day.
With the most beautiful view of our home town, Port Elizabeth, La Colline was the perfect start to our forever. With a big rain storm the previous night, I stayed awake praying for the perfect weather on the day, and as always my prayers were answered. We could not have asked for a more perfect day.
I have never been an over the top kind of girl, and always thought of myself as being a barefoot type of girl. Keeping this in mind I knew my wedding day would be simplistic with a dash of vintage/rustic feel to it. My husband to be was on board with all the decision making and stood by my side as our big day came closer and closer. Simplistic, yet different we were blessed with many helping hands to create our perfect day.
We both knew that the big day would be a very emotional one, as we have been waiting for this day for a long time. We started dating in grade 11, but knew at a very early stage in our relationship that we were meant for one another.
Looking back at my perfect wedding, I would give anything to have one moment over again. The most beautiful moment of my entire wedding for me would be the moment the doors of the chapel open and I walk down the aisle, to see my husband's face again and relive the excitement, experience the thrill again and of course to share that first kiss as Mr and Mrs Mostert.
