My wedding day was planned twice. The first time around I worried about everything. Would I look perfect, would the DJ play the right music, what if someone got drunk, what if all my photos got lost, where would I have my nails done? The "perfect" wedding I planned was cancelled. A few months later my husband and I got re-engaged and I began the planning process again, only this time, I knew what was important.
All that mattered to me now was that I had found the person I wanted to spend my life with and the other details seemed so trivial with this new perspective. We halved our budget, all wedding decisions were made with ease! We found out there are some amazing suppliers that do not cost a hand and a leg! Venue - the super fun Oxwagon Lodge, Make up - the beautiful very talented Lynn Hoff, Music - an amazing dude on a guitar called Dylan Chazen, Capture the memories - Echowood Photography and Barefeet Videography, Decor - just the plain old African bush with a bonfire :)
Standing at the top of the aisle and having my brothers and my dad escort me down the stairs, seeing my future husband wait for me with tears in his eyes, all to the song "Feels like home" by Chantla Kreviazuk, I felt such contentment and I knew everything was just as it should be.
