Our wedding day went beyond our expectations. We had a small, intimate wedding. The ceremony took place on the deck, surrounded by water and sunshine. All that I wanted, was to marry the love of my life.
Schalk (my hubby), and I had a relaxed atmosphere, we had a live band, Far away George and Fritz played music that suited the atmosphere that we wanted to create. We didn't want the fuss of who sits where with the normal tables, so Vivere provided us with the best option and we had a cocktail dinner.
The most fun we had was with the photographers, I cannot thank NightOwl Media enough for art that they created on our big day, Tarryn made us feel so relaxed in front of the cameras.
The venue created a romantic feel with the décor which was simplistic and beautiful with scattered Proteas here and there - we didn't worry about a thing thanks to Vivere.
When it was time to walk down the aisle, I will never forget the butterflies I had before walking down the aisle towards my future husband, my legs were shaking to such an extent that my father was my pillar.
I never realized how much effort it takes to create a wedding, but I cannot thank our providers enough, from Yolande and Yolande who did the hair and make up, to NightOwl, to Far away George and Fritz, to Vivere Guest House, to our Guests - thanks to all of you for making our day a magical one.
As for the wedding cake, Anneke Kruger created the best cake I have ever had in my entire life. She made the most delicious pop cakes - when I saw how fast the pop cakes were going, I told Marie from Vivere, to please pack the pop cakes away for us to take on honeymoon - and that is exactly what we did!
My days with my husband are just as romantic as our wedding day, I will forever treasure the memory of our day, and everyday from there on.
