Paul and I got married at Diamant Estate in Paarl. It was a magnificent Summer's day in the Cape and the build up to our afternoon service was perfect.
With my little girl, my four beautiful Bridesmaids and my two Mom's by my side, the morning of our wedding was both unbelievably relaxed, and very special. We started off with breakfast on the balcony of the Manor House of Diamant Estate, enjoying the crisp morning whilst overlooking the Paarl valley, and then the hair and make-up started for my right-hand girls. I managed to have a mid-morning nap, something I never dreamed of having on my wedding day, and then my fun prep started.
We were surrounded with our closest friends and family from all over the world - London, Sydney, Brisbane, Amsterdam, New Jersey and other parts of the USA as well as all over South Africa. They had gathered to share our most special day with us, and that meant the world to our families.
Later that afternoon, my groom spoke as the sun set behind Table Mountain in the distance, framing one of THE most perfect moments of my life.
We danced all night long and simply couldn't have asked for a more incredible day!
To top it all off, my new husband whisked me off in a light aircraft the next day... to the Masai Mara in Kenya for an unbelievable week in the bush.
10/10 in my opinion :)
