Our "together forever" started on November 21st. A day that will always be remembered for all the love and laughter. Not only did we celebrate our wedding day, but it was also my 30th birthday - double the joy!
It was a misty and rainy morning, but the skies cleared and it ended up being a beautiful fresh day, for a fresh start of our new life together.
We chose the magnificent Landtscap in Stellenbosch as our venue, because it reflected us and who we are - simplistic and minimalistic. With the beauty of the Stellenbosch mountains and the vineyards through the glass sliding doors, we kept the décor to a minimum, only enhancing the natural beauty of the venue and its surroundings.
We opted for a slate grey and white color scheme and natural elements such as orchids and bonsai trees. We wanted the wedding to reflect something about both of us, and the bonsai trees added a little bit of a masculine feel.
The best moment was definitely standing outside the church, hearing the bells ringing, knowing that all of our closest friends and family inside and that this is OUR wedding and today we get to say "I do".
The wedding continued until the early hours of the morning whilst celebrating with a birthday cake and sparklers, and neon accessories for our guests to add to the vibe.
It was a day that I'm still dreaming of, still wishing I could have it over again because it was surely THE best day that we could've asked for.
