Black and White are my favorite colours and as such we had a Black and White themed wedding. My Dress was white and was paired with a black ribbon (which had diamante on it). My bridemaid's wore the inverse to my dress in terms of colours. They all wore custom made black dress with white ribbons. Each bridesmaid's top section of their dress was different as it was based on their preference, style and was also suited to each of their bodies. Both our Ceremony and Reception was held at the One and Only. As my Groom is Tamil (Indian) we had a Christian Ceremony but however embraced Indian aspects into our wedding. We had an "Ohm" sign pattern which was done with white flower petals on the black carpet runner - quite a dramatic entrance for walking down the aisle (An Ohm sign is an auspiscious Tamil sign which symbolizes good energy and wards off bad / evil thoughts). During our Ceremony we faced our guests whilst exchanging our vows, which made our day that much more special. I also wore a red dot during our couple shoot, which symbolizes that a woman is married in the Indian culture. Our wedding day was not traditional as we chose for it to be more of a celebration of our love. It was the perfect start to our Happily Ever After!
