We got married on a small airstrip close to my family farm outside Springbok in the Northern Cape. I grew up in the Namaqualand and have a great love for the veld, which made this day so much more special. It was a real “Boere-sjiek” DIY wedding with “roosterkoeke” and Karoo meat (from my husband's family farm) on the menu. Most of the flowers and the confetti came from our veld. The orange copper mountains in the background, all out loved ones, a huge dance floor and great music made it our best day ever! We thank the Lord for all His blessings.
