When I think about our wedding day then there is no doubt that it was a dream come true. As a little girl I dreamt about my wedding and the reality far exceeds, everything was perfect and very special. The vibe of the day was warm and cosy, a day filled with love and blessings. My most special moment was when I walked down the aisle, all the guests smiling, holding my dad’s hand and walking towards the man of my dreams. Nothing can compare.
After the ceremony we were blessed with Heather Deliciosa (Fynbos) from Scatterlings Fynbos Confetti. The small deep pink colour flowers fitted perfectly with the theme and as a bonus we could carry the “blessing” with us for the rest of the day as there is no way of getting them out of your hair without ruining the hard work of the hair stylist. ?
Our wedding car was an old Borgward from the George Museum which is really something special.
Buffelsbaai has been part of our lives for a very long time and we are grateful that we could have our wedding there. We had the most beautiful sunset and the weather was just perfect for amazing photos on the beach.
With our arrival at the venue, solar jars and fairy lights lit the way and the guests welcomed us with small bells. RiverDeck has contributed to our fairy tale and Cynthia and her team have served the most delicious food from canapés to a late night cheese platter. The reception was fun and filled with laughter. Thanks to my bridesmaids we had a perfectly shaped fynbos hart on the dance floor and all the guests held sparkles while we enjoyed our first dance as Mr and Mrs Loubser.
My dearest mom had made sure that all my wishes came true and I can only thank her for all her hard work and special touch. So blessed. The flowers were done by a dear friend, Joné Vermaak, and were the most beautiful I have ever seen. One of the things I will cherish forever. I am also very blessed to have Ronél Jacobs in my life, where her hands touch, everything falls into place and sparkles.
Thinking back I cannot believe that the day went by to fast but thank you to Lynelle Pienaar, we have the most beautiful photos as memory.
