My special day started with an amazing breakfast in bed, followed by a trip to the hairdresser. After 4 hours of pampering, I arrived at the wedding venue, ready for the BIG day and everything it held. The next few hours, leading up to the wedding service was a big blur of photos, laughs, family, bridesmaids and butterflies. Standing outside the church - my last special moment with my dad, as Miss - reality kicked in and tears started to flow - not tears of sadness, but excitement and joy!
The wedding march started playing and I started my way down the aisle (all eyes on me, yet I never felt so confident and proud) towards my husband-to-be and towards our future. The service passed in a wink of an eye and after the "I DOs" a wave of calmness and relaxation spread over the two of us.
What followed was hand shakes, hugs, kisses, cake, bubbles and photos... lots and lots of photos! Even though I have never taken so many pictures of myself, I could not stop smiling and when the party started, we enjoyed not only time with our friends and family, but laughed and danced the night away as Mr and Mrs.
