Married on Nov 29, 2014

We were engaged for two years before we said "I do" so I had ample time to plan our special day, however too much time leads to a very indecisive bride.

I planned our wedding from London, so distance and time difference was quite an obstacle. Fortunately my mom was my right hand women and we managed to pull off the most beautiful and amazing day of my life.

When I was young, I always dreamt of being a fairy and promised myself I would get married in a forest. We got married in Nature's Valley (our favourite place). Natures' true natural beauty was the perfect backdrop for my childhood dreams. We were so spoilt to have a variety of settings. The whimsical forest, a private beach and the most beautiful sunset reflecting on the mountains.

The day started of beautifully with blue skies and not even a breath of wind. I was truly so happy I just could't wait to get married to my soul mate.

As the time drew closer, the wind picked up and the sun disappeared, but nothing could upset us! Walking down the isle, was the most amazing feeling - seeing my stunning groom smiling at me while my dad managed to say something that made me laugh the whole way.

I was very emotional whilst saying our vows. I truly felt the Lord's presence and couldn't wait to commit to the love of my life. If you ask any of our guests, I am sure they will agree with me when I say our reception was very emotional too.

Having our family and closest friends under one roof is all we could have asked for. Non-stop dancing until midnight and special memories will never be forgotten.

A big thanks to all our friends and family who contributed towards our perfect wedding day! We couldn't have done it without you!

I wish we could go back in time and have it all over again! xxx
