I know everyone always talks about love at first sight..... but our love story really was love at first sight!! Our eyes met for the first time as I entered a new school at the age of 16, not knowing that today I will fall in love and marry my best friend and future husband! Our friendship quickly blossomed into love! The same goes for my husband as he told his best friend... this is the girl I AM GOING TO MARRY! And so 9 years and 4 months later we took our vows and promised to always love each other as we have been doing for the past 9 years, only to promise each other that the future will be filled with even more love, happiness and laughter!! Our Wedding day was truly a special day for us,our family and our friends! We didn't want a traditional wedding or wedding day, but more a celebration between two families and friends! Our wedding day was an everlasting day experienced with so much love and joy! We said I do at Galagos Country Estate in Cullinan, perfect for a fairy tale wedding with its whimsical trees and greenery! We said our I do's outside in the woods and not to be conventional we faced our guest as we had the ceremony, so that they could share in our happiness! The song I walked down the aisle on was so special to me as it resembles that we were meant for each other! (Sara Ramirez- The Story)The first dance was one to remember as our song was "Timbaktu" -Riana Nel, as I will follow him wherever he goes!Millions of holographic multi coloured confetti fell from the roof as we danced our first dance, making this so picture perfect! And so after the first dance, the dance floor was opened and we got all the formalities done and dusted before main-course, to ensure that everyone could have a good time with us! The venue was lit up by purple lighting and a fairy tale carousel that just spoke elegance! We couldn't stop whispering to each other how much we love each other at the main table, nor could we stop smiling either! Everything was just so magical and whimsical and that's how it will be for the next 100 years! We danced the night away and when the clock struck 12 i did not loose my crystal slipper but instead we took the celebrations outside to a lit bonfire with all our guests! Well we can truly say we saw the sun come up as did most of our guests, but best of all is the fact that we as newly weds saw our fist sunrise together! What a truly magical wedding day we had , something out of a fairy tale book!
