Jaen and I dated for 6 months before we knew we wanted to be together. To be honest I knew within a couple of weeks of dating him- we both knew where we wanted to be in life and we both knew the only way there was with the Lord guiding us. Needless to say, He guided us right to the alter :)
On the 28th of November 2014 we would exchange vows before God and all our nearest and dearest. We chose a Friday because our guests would then be able to have fun all weekend and we decided on a classic and romantic morning wedding to match our simple, yet oh so stylish lifestyles. Detail was important to us so from the very beginning we worked with the wonderful Michelle Du Preez from BonCap Winery and Guestfarm in Robertson which was our chosen venue.
We absolutely had to have Lize and Leo from Lilac Photography do our wedding as we'd heard such rave reviews from our friends and we made the perfect decision to welcome them as new friends into our lives :) Markus Gericke from Boland Weddings made sure every fun moment was captured on film and Simone Roelofse from Adore Me ensured that my dress was perfect, simple and comfortable.
The day was everything it was meant to be with perfect weather, lots of family bustle, the laughter of loved ones, just enough kid cuteness, the right amount of soppy tears and of course the perfect jazz band to set the celebratory tone for our reception.
We could not have had a better white wedding and I could not have had a better memory with my partner, a perfect dress and the love of family and friends!
