I married the love of my life and boyfriend of 9 years on a bright and sunny Friday afternoon in November. Our ceremony was held at the beautiful New Apostolic Church in Parow and our reception at the breath-taking Nitida Wine Farm in Durbanville.
Our black-and-white themed wedding was all about sophisticated fun. We ditched the traditional sit-down reception and had a cocktail party instead - complete with informal seating and bowl food menu. Our glass-enclosed venue looked amazing with white furniture, striking red floral arrangements and a view that literally took one's breath away.
On arrival, guests enjoyed bubbly and milkshakes (our favourite drinks) while being entertained by violin-and-guitar duo Acoustic Element. Thereafter they were able to kick their shoes off (slip-slops were provided for the ladies), relax and enjoy the music provided by our live band. A pool table and prop-filled photobooth ensured that everyone had great fun.
It was an amazing, fun and magical night - the perfect way to start our journey as husband and wife.
